Hey Everyone.. I know I am slow on this… The boys went in for surgery to have tubes put in their ears… The surgery went well, and I think it was harder on Jen and I than on the boys… We were scheduled to be in for 11:20 and 11:40, and they wern’t allowed to eat anything from the night before, and no fluids for 3 hours before… well, with our boys, that was surly going to be an issue… turns out that it wasn’t a problem at all…
another funny thing is that when Daniel was going in for surgery, he took the nurses hand, said Bye Mom, and just left… no issue there either… Coming out of the anestetic was a diferent story though, both boys needed lots of snuggles, so I guess we were needed after all… Both Daniel adn thomas were whiny on the way home, but after a nap, they were all better… totally… no ill affects at all…
it has been a week, with no side effects… Thomas isn’t too fond of his ear plugs that ne now must wear, but we assure him that they are pretty, adn he goes along wiht it…
