k… so I still stink at updating this… I think I am “ok” with text updates, but the photos are lacking, adn even with the integration, jen doesnt do it easier… now I’ve made it silly-easy. picasa-web->wordpress publishing.

I have a Nokia E71. I take a picture from that phone. I email it to a secret address at google’s picasaweb address and then it gets added to my album. every night, my wordpress installation goes and looks for new photos in my picassa website and downloads them to wordpress… then they show up in here…

Hopefully it’ll be updated on a much more consistent basis.

Here’s what’s online now:

I found some pictures of a sand storm that blew across the middle east this week. These(I believe) are taken from Ridah, in Saudi. It gives you an idea of what it is like:

We went to the beach yesterday… Daniel and I spent some time hangin out on the rocks… Here is a little video of us horsing around with a few of his friends…
Other than that, we went to Rick’s country kitchen for a taste of greasy spoon, and had supper at a friends place… Order in pizza… Yummy, quick and great for clean-up….

So. it’s been a while. Humm… how often do I start off a post with that? Farr too often I think.

Last weekend was a party weekend for Jen and I. we went to a ball… I have never been to a ball. I had a tux made for the event, jen borrowed a slinky, low-cut (yay!) dress and we went out shoe-shopping for her. Got all prettied up and off we went. For the un-initiated(as I was) the ball was a dinner and a dance. very very similar to a wedding reception without the head table and no ceremony. nice dinner, plenty of wine, and a dance. The first half of the ball was fun, and I am told I had fun at the second half… I really don’t remember it…

I am not sure if I told everyone about a little family trip we have planned. The family from canada are meeting us in Greece. we are going at the beginning of April, and are really looking forward to it.

Both boys are in swimming lessons and doing well. Daniel just got bumped up a level, into Turtles – 2. Thomas is in intro to water and generally spends his time splashing water at the teacher and showing us how he can mimic a hippo, blowing bubbles out his nose and mouth…

crap. I have to go… Sorry. I know there are spelling mistakes and this is all over the place, but I wanted to get SOMETHING online…
we are off to Ricks Country Kitchen to get some grits(yah, really)
